East Lothian Council Branch of UNISON, is run by a democratically elected branch committee and supported by skilled staff, regionally and nationally.

In addition to local section and departmental reps (stewards), every UNISON branch has a number of elected lay member officers who have specific roles and responsibilities across the branch.

All members of our branch can attend our branch meetings, vote and stand in branch elections and get involved in our campaigns and activities.

We are always looking for people who feel they can contribute to the branch and to helping other members. This could be a regular commitment or just the occasional hour or so.
